Place your component in a zip lock bag or wrap in waterproof paper or plastic before packing for shipping. A Small Priority Mail Flat Rate Box (free from your local Post Office) can fit two freewheels if one is flipped 180 degrees and the sprockets are "nested" together. I also recommend using simple padding such as crumpled up newspapers or plastic grocery/shopping bags to take up the remaining space. Please add any notes for special instructions. If you haven't contacted me ahead of time, please include your email address. I will use it to update you on progress, send pictures, and your PayPal invoice.
Shipping Policies:
"Shipping To" Postage is your responsibility. I will not cover any "Postage Due" on items sent to me.
Return Domestic U.S. Postage is NOT included in the price of the service. Unfortunately, with the cost of postage always increasing, I must charge the actual cost for return shipping.
Return International Postage is of course expensive. I will however, email the actual cost of international shipping. I will ship your item within 24 hours of PayPal payment.
Each Return Package will have a tracking number. I will email you this number. On a Priority Mail package, the USPS offers $100.00 in insurance. If additional insurance is needed there will be an extra cost (see Full Menu & Prices page).
My Promise to You
I promise to do my best to restore your component to a "like new" condition. However, we all know certain items have a limited lifespan. I will not work on an item that I deem, unsafe, unusable, or unreliable, no matter what magic I might be able to work to make it look clean and shiny. I will return the item to you at your expense.
If I do determine I am unable to work on your item, I will not send a PayPal invoice but will keep you well informed via email (I've only not worked on three freewheels since 2011. Broken sprocket teeth on ones which could not be removed was the cause. All were Suntour New Winners or Winners.).
If you are not satisfied with my work, please contact me via email. I will do my best to make you happy. I reserve the right to either refund the cost of your service, offer a credit for a future service, or attempt to do your work over to your satisfaction.
No matter how hard I try to please and do the best job possible, sometimes I cannot make every customer happy. I will do my best to rectify any discrepancies which arise between us. I ask that you try to do the same. Both customer and proprietor are best served when a level of trust and a willingness to work together exist. My hope is that you will trust me to do my best, as I trust you to be reasonable with my best attempts to do so.I ask that my customers try to do the same. Thank you for your business!
